Tuning into the moon and celebrating its phases has been transformative, moving my family ever-closer to nature and her rhythms. 2020 has been a challenging year for many families. Being able look up and flow along with the phases of the moon, when other aspects of any predictable social rhythm slipped away, has been reassuring.
FREE 2021 FULL MOON PRINTABLE
It is difficult to believe that this is the fifth year I have the pleasure of sharing this resource with other families in the hopes that it deepens your relationship with the moon.
The poster features the 12 names and dates of the full moons for 2021. Naming the moons is a tradition that stretches across the globe and was often tied to each biome. The names on the poster first appeared in the Maine Farmers' Almanac in the 1930s and are rooted in Celtic, Native American, colonial and other ancient traditions. Each name speaks to timely seasonal shifts or events and serves as a powerful way for us to reflect on our own lives.
The Full Moon Printable acts as the guide for the Kids Moon Club. If you are interested in aligning more closely with the rhythm of the moon, celebrating the full moon rising and connecting more closely with your family and community, get on the wait list for the Kids Moon Club. I will be opening for new members on December 1st, but the doors close to new members on December 31st.
